Horses, like us humans,
are all very unique.

At BACK40 we respect each horse's individual needs and customize a boarding program for each.Some horses need to be pasture boarded at night, some prefer to be stall boarded only a couple hours a day, some need specific flyzprotection, blankets or supplements. Whatever your horses needs, we will cater to their requirements as if they were our own. Be assured we will provide comfort, safety & quality food while also caring for their mental & physical health. The major benefit of being a smaller, boutique boarding facility is that your horse will get the attention and quality time it needs by a caring and professional staff.

BACK40 is settled on 40 acres in beautiful Oconee County, GA.  We are just 2 miles off of Hwy 316 and just 15 minutes from University of Georgia and UGA Veterinary Teaching Hospital.  At the farm you feel like you are tucked away in the peaceful country while being just minutes away from major shopping areas.

We have 6 large grazing pastures spread over 20 acres,  as well as 20 acres of riding trails around the property.  We are fortunate enough to back up to a county park that offers dozens of wooded riding trails as well! 

The newly built modern barn has (7) 12x12  stalls, (6) of which have attached 12x40 runs.  Each stall has matted flooring, 2 commercial fans, & a security camera for owners to check in on their horse remotely.  Clients have access to the temperature controlled tack room with a lounge area & bathroom.
